How to make a character bio.

Cool, I'm incredibly happy that you've read this far! ;D

After you write the bio, I will review it, and perhaps make some comments, etc. When I am cool with it, I will PM you the server IP.

Making the bio is easy. Just copy and paste these fields into a new topic and fill them out. Be creative, but try to keep within the very open mythos we have (see the stickied announcement). I don't expect an essay, but try to put more than a sentence or two.

New bios should conform to the TJRP 2.0 standard. There are 5 races to choose from. However, race numbers are limited, so you may not be able to join the race of your choice. Here's a brief rundown of them:

--HUMANS--(Leader: Bntyhntr / Ersake)
Exactly what you'd expect. They're just average people. No special powers, but no weaknesses either. They should be the majority of the players. Humans live in one of the two large cities (you can pick which). Overall, they're the most versatile race. Humans can create an sail large ships around the world.

--ANIMISTS--(Leader: Headhunter09 / Foing Alhlo)
Half-animal, half-human creatures who make a living by trading. They can move faster than anyone else, and also possess other special abilities. Animists live in small camps throughout the forest area between the two human cities. They're relatively secluded and, except for trade, don't make contact with other groups.

--CRIMSON BROTHERHOOD (CRIMSONS)-- (Leader: Ozzatron / Serinas Veldar)
Redstone-infused humans which, although weaker than regular humans, are far smarter and can use the CraftBook Redstone mechanics. They deal less damage to players with each attack. Crimsons live in their mountain fortress south of the central plains.

--ANCIENTS-- (Leader: Ashtheking / Arkantos)
The original race of the TJRP 2.0 world, Ancients are, well, ancient, being thousands of years old. They have only three hearts of health, but can spawn materials and teleport. Ancients follow a strict code of conduct: do not deal in spawned materials and do not wage warfare of any kind. They live in their hidden stronghold, very far away from anyone else.

--RACE NUMBERS AND AVAILABILITIES--

Ancient: 3 - Admissions Closed
Animists: 6 - Admissions Closed
Crimsons: 4 - Admissions Closed
Humans: N/A - Admissions Open

Once you've picked one of those, you need to build a biography of your character. Remember, you have lived in your race's society your entire life. Therefore, the bios that the race leaders have aren't very good examples as they all have to deal with the 1.0-2.0 transition.

There's a few things you gotta fix, like the crimsons dealing 1/2 damage, it's actually -1 heart. I can write a new, more in-depth one if you want me to.

You should probably also mention emergents having extra damage too in the main post, and how the ancients MUST be accepted by ash, and are very limited in space.

Agreed, that would help and explain why alot of people already have chosen human.

Okay, here goes another attempt at describing the races.

--HUMANS-- (Leader: bntyhntr / Ersake)
Exactly what you'd expect. They're just average people. They have absolutely no weaknesses. Overall, humans are the most versatile race, and most of the players should be humans. They can build boats/ships and sail around the world, and are masters of tools. Humans can repair tools and will have further tool-based bonuses in the future. There are two cities, Nova and <other city, not named yet> locked in a bitter struggle; when you join, pick your side!

Choose them if you want to be in the city conflict and in the center of most of the RP!

--ANIMISTS-- (Leader: Headhunter09 / Foing Alhlo)
Half-human, half-animal creatures descended from the ancient Bloberis which make a living through trading. Animists can transform into, or more accurately gain the attributes of, the five passive mobs in Minecraft.
- As a pig, you regenerate while moving.
- As a sheep, you create life around you, and generate wool. (?)
- As a cow, you get a free set of leather armor.
- As a chicken, you take zero fall damage.
- As a squid, you can breathe underwater.
- As a wolf, you deal 1 extra heart of damage with all attacks and can instantly train wolves.

Animists also have the capability to use supermovement, toggled with the SHIFT key (just like sneaking). While supermoving, they travel incredibly fast and can even glide if it is activated in the air.

Choose them if you like to have a large array of abilities!

--EMERGENTS-- (Leader: FlamingDragon96 / Samahude)
Fungus-infected humanoids with a hive-mind, which means they all share one big brain and can feel each others' pain, happiness, etc. The Emergents are widely considered to be absolutely evil, and often conduct raids on both human cities, stealing supplies and destroying buildings. Emergents are built for combat, dealing 2 extra hearts of damage with all attacks. To complement that, hostile mobs don't attack them until provoked, allowing them easy travel during the night. They live in the HIVE (which is capitalized for archaic reasons involving old lore).

Choose them if you like combat and, to a limited extent, griefing!

--CRIMSON BROTHERHOOD (CRIMSONS)-- (Leader: Ozzatron / Serinas Veldar)
Redstone-corrupted humans who have become masters of their element, science. Due to the corruption, they generate Redstone automatically. On the other hand, they're physically weak, and deal 1 heart less damage with all attacks. This means their fists do nothing. They can build and fly airships, and can make Redstone circuitry using CraftBook Integrated Circuits, putting them leagues ahead of anyone else in the field. They used to be able to use drills, but this was removed in favor of wireless integrated circuits.

Choose them if you like working with Redstone and other gizmos!

--ANCIENTS-- (Leader: ashtheking / Arkantos)
Ancients are the original race of the TJRP 2.0 world, being thousands of years old. Nobody knows when the Ancient race came to be. They have only three hearts of health, but can summon materials at will (primarily for themselves, but they can give them away for favors) and teleport to any location. Due to their wings, they also take zero fall damage. They live in their hidden stronghold, very far away from everyone else. Being well-versed in everything, having lifetimes of thousands of years, they often hang around and give advice to the younger races. They even run, behind the scenes, one of the human cities.

Only one error, the ruins at spawn aren't like that cuz of emergents (conzo made that up in his lore). It's like that cuz of a battle between the two cities, idk where but even Matt said so.
