Well, we're supposed to be. The rarity thing didn't work out, really. But eventually it ought to be really good RP.

I'm simply saying, You have to be really good at RP to be an Ancient, which I don't know yet. You yourself stated that Minecraft is not good for RP, which leads me to believe you won't be good at it. If you are, You COULD be considered for RP. It doesn't make sense that if I think something doesn't work, then I'm not good at it. I don't think Windows works well, but does that mean I'm not good at using Windows? I don't think Java is a great language, but does that mean I'm bad at Java? Your logic is faulty.

Of course it's faulty. But that doesn't prove the conclusion incorrect.

Stop defending an inherently busted argument. Ashwin's point is "no, you can't be an Ancient."

Which is a valid point, even though Ash's argument is silly.

I agreed to the revamp, it's in the new version of the plugin already. All ancient powers require some amount of EXP, so start racking up those legitamite animals! I'm making it so that spawning animals takes just as much EXP as it would give at max when killed. I'm thinking that Emergents can have a random chance of losing 100 EXP and doing +1 heart of damage. Animists will be able to sacrifice 100 EXP and have a random item spawn for them (anything from dirt to chainmail, a balanced benefit for trading people.) Humans will be able to generate a random tool (non diamond) for 100 EXP. Crimsons... I dunno.

Don't make XP-based features, because it will be implemented correctly in 1.9, which will be released very soon.
As for Crimsons... sacrifice Redstone to regenerate health. I've been wanting that for a long, long time.
(possibly like 4 Redstone per half-heart?)

I'm making it so that spawning animals takes just as much EXP as it would give at max when killed. Good, I like this idea. Keeps things balanced. Crimsons... I dunno. Umm...I don't know if these are really necessary. Plus, 100 EXP for +1 heart of damage seems kind of expensive. Again, non-diamond for 100 EXP seems expensive. EXP are kind of hard to come by after you kill all the passive mobs in an area. I think it would work a lot better if you could have multiple levels of EXP spending; i.e. 25 EXP for a random dirt or stone tool, 50 for a random iron tool, and 75-100 for a random gold or diamond tool.

No, i'm using EXP. I mean, honestly, XP serves no purpose in 1.8, and if the prerelease has nothing, I really doubt the full release will, based on 1.8. And if it does, i'm thinking that it will be a supplement. No, since you generate redstone, it'd be too easy, even with your proposed amount. Plus, just eat food, you'll auto heal then. Healing is really pointless, i'm thinking Pig mode will just mean no hunger decreasing.

Alright, sounds good. Glad that we've been able to somewhat balance the classes.

Darn. I guess Ashwin's word is final and Umune will be the next ancient... I guess I better finish my bio around being a human.
