--snip-- And isn't it a requirement that airships must look like something that could actually fly?Yes, airships must either have sails, a large balloon, or anti-ballast, which is like a bunch of small balloons all around the hull. Airships also shouldn't be made of something heavy, like obsidian or pistons. Cobblestone is ok, but not for the entire thing. --snip-- So no airplanes, helicopters, gliders, hovercraft, starfighters, autogyros, flying wings, etc.?

When the 1.0 world was destroyed was it a planet or a small section of the world (I need this info for the new mythos I'm writing). And who surveyed the apocalypse and made it into 2.0?

Ash has some complicated explanation regarding a god of time and deus ex machina. To be honest, I didn't understand it at all.

Well, if it's a hovercraft with massive engines that may be ok. When the 1.0 world was destroyed was it a planet or a small section of the world (I need this info for the new mythos I'm writing). And who surveyed the apocalypse and made it into 2.0? I'm pretty sure it was sort of like the Dr. Who universe destruction, but temporally anchored to one time frame.

Everyone from 1.0 survived the apocalypse, because they all went through the portal made by me and Krios/Arkantos. Mostly Krios, though.
However, it's been 500 years, and therefore all of the 1.0 characters are dead, except for Keyalvis, Scud, Arkantos (because they're Ancients) and Krios (because he's a god or some such). I (Serinas Veldar) am alive too because Krios resurrected me.
I'm going to ask a few questions for this thread:
1) What are the rules on Ancient-spawned materials and dealing in them? (you mentioned this as an example but didn't answer it)
2) How invincible is the Tower of Thardus in RP?
3) Similarly, how strong are other defensive structures in RP? Are you really allowed to just mine through the fence blocks in a portcullis? How much effort does it take to break down / mine through walls in RP? Can closed iron doors be broken open, or circumvented by digging around them?

Can closed iron doors be broken open, or circumvented by digging around them? 1) We can't. The only thing I ever sold out of spawned materials was a wall around Arkantos' Gunworks, because he could have spawned the obby himself anyway. (This was before his suspension of powers.) 2) It isn't, I could walk right through the door. 3) Good question. Aww, do I have to die in the 1.0-2.0 transition?

Forgot you, sorry. ::edit:: Modified that post to include you, and also what I mean by "invincible" is that I can lock the door, which is a meter of solid iron. I wanted to know whether or not that can be broken into in RP (that is, gotten through even when it's locked). I can also coat the tower in lava if a locked iron block + piston door and obsidian walls aren't good enough.

I don't think they should be, but I'll wait for an official decision.

You don't think they should be able to be broken into, or you don't think they should be invincible? Be specific please.

He still took part in 1.0. Every time I describe this you find something wrong with what I say. How about we just say it never happened?
