Story:
Chapter One:
Iminnae the Alchemist goes by many names; Iminnae the Old, the Lost Prophet, the Alchemist of Glacearis, and the Prophet of Maore. However, the most common name, whispered among the inhabitants of the human city where he grew up, and carried over into the superstitious surrounding villages, is the Dark Prophet.
However, Iminnae began his life as an normal boy. He grew up accepted by the human community, but when he discovered the powers of alchemy in a library, and began to use them, he was exiled. Alchemy was a forbidden practice in the city where he lived, as they held that alchemy 'destroyed the natural balance of the world' and forbid it.
Banished, he wandered into the mountains, and took for himself a small cave. He could have used alchemy to provide himself with gold and other riches, but distraught over his expulsion, he refused to use alchemy to provide for himself.
Chapter Two:
One rainy night as he slept in his cave he had a vision, in which the Maore the Changer, god of Transformation, spoke to him. Maore said: "Iminnae the Lost, I am Maore the Changer, he who causes change in this world, the Force of History, the Death of Empires. I have chosen thee, master of the ways of alchemy, my chosen art, to be my voice among the people."
Iminnae replied: "Why me, Most Fluid One, I am not trusted among the people. They despise and fear me."
Maore replied: "Thou art the best candidate, for who may hear my call that lives not in the forever changing domain of the wild? Thus I command thee: Go down and speak to the people of Glacearis, and tell them that I am angry with their laws against my art, and that I will wreak my wrath upon their men, women and children."
Iminnae did this, and Maore was pleased. Thus he earned the name of the Dark Prophet, for he foretold the doom of Glacearis, which came a month later in the form of a fiery tornado from the South.
Chapter Three:
Thus Iminnae wandered among the peoples of the land, speaking the words of Maore, until slowly his memory faded under the pressure and changing powers of Maore. Although he retained his immense alchemical powers, and soon came to rest in the one of two human cites of which he did not know...
